Snow removal Marlboro NJ sites actually need
Marlboro is on our Monmouth County route with Manalapan and Freehold. These are the site types we plan for here.
Route 9 retail
Shopping centers and pad sites on the highway, where the entrance off Route 9 and the drive-through lanes are the pinch points.
Route 79 and the town center
Smaller plazas, banks and offices along Route 79 with short frontage and tight rear lots.
Professional and medical offices
Dentists, physicians and professional buildings where patient walks and accessible spaces come first.
Morganville and Route 520
Retail and service sites in the Morganville section and along Route 520, toward the Route 18 corridor.
How we run it
Office lots that open early, plazas with nowhere to put snow
Most Marlboro sites are small. That makes stacking and walkway work most of the job.
Stacking zones marked in November
Agreed on the site walk so piles never block drains, hydrants or accessible spaces.
Walks before lots
Hand crews clear entrances, ramps and walks with walkway de-icer while the plow works the lot.
Relocation after big storms
When a small lot fills, snow is moved or hauled so the lot keeps its parking count.
Refreeze runs
Return visits for meltwater that refreezes overnight — see ice management.

Local rule
Marlboro’s sidewalk snow rules
We found no sidewalk-clearing ordinance in Marlboro’s code. Its snow rules deal with parking.
No sidewalk deadline found
The township code has no snow chapter; the streets chapter covers excavations and sidewalk repair.
Snow emergency parking
The traffic code sets no-parking rules during declared snow emergencies, which matters for lots that share street frontage.
Commercial duty still applies
New Jersey courts hold commercial owners responsible for making the public sidewalk along the property reasonably safe within a reasonable time after a storm (Mirza v. Filmore Corp., 1983). No ordinance does not mean no liability.
Confirm with the clerk
We have not confirmed the absence of a rule with the Township Clerk. Until you have, plan to the 12-daylight-hour standard common in nearby towns.

Do you cover Morganville?
Yes. Morganville is part of Marlboro Township and is on the same route.
Our office lot is small. Is it worth a contract?
Usually yes — small lots fill fastest, and the walk and entrance work is the same size job as on a big lot. A per-event contract is common for small Marlboro offices.
Do you clear the walks to the door, too?
Yes. Entrances, ramps and walks are done by hand crews — see commercial sidewalk snow removal.
